Two Jr. Blues- goalie Tommy Nappier and defenseman Erich Fear- are two of eleven players to make the National Hockey League’s “Prospects to Watch” list for 2016 draft-eligible players in the league scouting department’s preliminary “watch” list that’s just been released. The list is for players in North America and Europe.
Nappier is 2-0 with a 1.00 goals-against average and a .953 save percentage (both stats are second-best in the league) after two stellar performances for the Blues against the Austin Bruins and Corpus Christi Ice Rays in the NAHL Showcase in Blaine this past week.
Fear is a 6-foot-five-inch, 215-pound defenseman out of Winnetka. He didn’t registered any points in the four games in Minnesota. He had four shots on goal and was a minus-one on plus/minus.
